PT Bumi Resources Tbk. (“BUMI” or “Company”) through unit business, PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) earned a “Green” ranking from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry at the PROPER Award Ceremony for the period of 2017-2018. The “Green” rank is prestigious award conferred to a company with best environmental management beyond compliance.

The PROPER (Program Penilaian Peringkat Kinerja Perusahaan dalam Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup) award was received by Muhammad Rudy, Chief Operating Officer of KPC from the Minister of Environment and Forestry, Siti Nurbaya Bakar at Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta, on Tuesday, 27 December 2018.

Saptari Hoedaja, President Director of PT Bumi Resources Tbk and PT Kaltim Prima Coal said, “We are privileged and honoured to receive Green Rank conferred by the Ministry of Environment at the PROPER Awards. This provides additional proof that BUMI group is committed to complying with all environmental regulations, enhancing the Company’s role in environmental management, conservation and efficiency in the use of natural resources (water and energy), preservation of biodiversity, and carrying out community development programs”.
