In BUMI’s Code of Conduct, what does a Speak Up System mean?
 
Dalam Pedoman Perilaku BUMI, apakah yang dimaksud dengan Speak Up System?
 
In the Code of Conduct, Speak Up System means a procedure that should be followed by all BUMI and its subsidiaries employees, management, Directors, Commissioners, and related parties to report violations/breaches of the Code of Conduct.
 
Speak Up System adalah prosedur yang berlaku seluruh karyawan, manajemen, Direktur, Komisaris, dan pihak terkait BUMI dan anak perusahan melaporkan adanya pelanggaran Pedoman (Code of Conduct).
 
When should you use the Speak Up System?
 
Kapan anda harus menggunakan Speak Up System?
 
Not all cases of the violation to the Code of Conduct need to be reported to the Speak Up System. In the first instances, when you have a concern of the violation to the Code of Conduct, you should raise your concern with your supervisor or manager, then your supervisor or manager will escalate the issue to the relevant department/ division.

However, if this is unsuccessful or you are too uncomfortable, you are encouraged to report to the Speak Up System.
 
Tidak semua masalah pelanggaran Pedoman Perilaku dilaporkan melalui Speak Up System Pedoman Perilaku. Ketika anda mengetahui adanya suatu pelanggaran Pedoman Perilaku, pertama-tama anda harus melaporkan hal tersebut kepada atasan atau manajer anda, kemudian atasan atau manajer anda akan menyampaikan masalah tersebut kepada Departemen/Divisi terkait.

Namun demikian,bila hal diatas tidak berhasil atau apabila anda merasa kurang nyaman, maka anda diharapkan untuk melaporkan pelanggaran Pedoman Perilaku melalui Speak Up System.
 
How to report the violation of the Code of Conduct to the Speak Up System?
 
Bagaimana melaporkan pelanggaran Pedoman Perilaku melalui Speak Up System?
 
You can report to the Speak Up System by:
  • Calling or sending a SMS to the phone number 0812 128 BUMI (0812 128 2864)
  • Completing and faxing or sending the Speak Up System Report Form that can be obtained at each business units to fax no. 021-7918 0608 or PO BOX 2864 (BUMI) JKS 12000
  • Sending emails to the following address: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
  • Completing and sending the Speak Up System Report Form that can be obtained from this page or click here
 
Anda dapat melaporkan pelanggaran Pedoman Perilaku melalui Speak Up System dengan:
  • Menelepon atau mengirim SMS ke nomor 0812 128 BUMI (0812 128 2864)
  • Melengkapi formulir yang dapat diperoleh di tiap bisnis unit dan mengirimkannya melalui fax ke nomor 021-7918 0608 atau PO BOX 2864 (BUMI) JKS 12000
  • Mengirim email ke alamat: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
  • Melengkapi dan mengirim formulir yang dapat diperoleh diawal dan diakhir halaman website ini atau klik disini
 
Will Speak Up System of the Code of Conduct also apply to the management and third parties, including contractors, suppliers, consultants, etc?
 
Apakah pihak ketiga termasuk kontraktor, supplier, konsultan, dll juga dapat melapor melalui Speak Up System?
 
Yes. Third parties can also report violations/breaches of the Code of Conduct to the Speak Up System.
 
Ya. Pihak ketiga juga dapat melaporkan pelanggaran Pedoman Perilaku melalui Speak Up System.
 
Will my confidentiality be maintained if I report a Code of Conduct violation?
 
Apakah Perusahaan akan menjamin kerahasiaan pelapor?
 
Yes. BUMI commits to protect any employee that honestly raise ethical concerns and will maintain confidentiality. All reports to the Speak Up System will be administered by a third party.

If you wish to remain anonymous, when you report a Code of Conduct violation to the Speak Up System, a report reference number in code form will be provided to enable follow up communications.
 
Ya. BUMI berkomitmen untuk melindungi karyawan yang secara jujur melaporkan terjadinya pelanggaran Pedoman Perilaku dan menjamin kerahasiaan pelapor. Semua laporan yang diterima melalui Speak Up System diadministrasikan oleh pihak ketiga.

Apabila ketika melaporkan suatu pelanggaran Pedoman Perilaku identitas anda tidak ingin diketahui, kepada anda akan diberikan suatu kode nomor referensi yang akan digunakan untuk berkomunikasi dalam menindak lanjuti laporan.
 
What is a “genuine concern”? If my concern proves to be unfounded, will I be punished?
 
Apa yang dimaksud dengan laporan yang dapat dipertanggungjawabkan?
 
If you have a reasonable basis for believing that a decision or action is inconsistent with BUMI’s Code of Conduct, you should raise the issue. If you do, even if your concern is not supported, there will be no action taken against you. However, if anyone knowingly provides false information, the Company will take disciplinary action.
 
Apabila anda mempunyai dasar yang dapat dipertanggung jawabkan untuk menentukan bahwa suatu keputusan atau tindakan tidak sesuai dengan Pedoman Perilaku, anda harus melaporkan hal tersebut. Apabila anda melaporkannya, meskipun laporan anda tidak didukung dengan bukti-bukti, kepada anda tidak akan dikenakan sanksi. Namun demikian, bila seseorang diketahui memberikan laporan palsu, Perusahaan akan mengenakan tindakan disiplin kepada yang bersangkutan.
 
What will happen if I report a Code of Conduct violation in which I am personally involved?
 
Apa yang terjadi bila saya melaporkan pelanggaran Pedoman Perilaku dimana saya terlibat di dalamnya?
 
If you have been involved in activities that violate Code of Conduct, you will be appropriately disciplined, but you will also be given full credit for disclosing the violation voluntarily. Consequences are likely to be worse for you if the Company learns of the violation in some other way.
 
Apabila anda terlibat dalam suatu kegiatan yang melanggar Pedoman Perilaku, kepada anda akan dikenakan tindakan disiplin yang sepantasnya. Namun demikian kepada anda juga akan diberikan penghargaan atas laporan pelanggaran yang secara sukarela dilakukan. Konsekuensi yang anda peroleh akan lebih berat bila Perusahaan menemukan adanya pelanggaran Pedoman Perilaku dengan cara lain.
