Saptari Hoedaja graduated from the Institute Technology Bandung (ITB) in Mechanical Engineering in 1983.

He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Bumi plc until March 2012. Since mid-2011, he also serves as the President Director of PT Arutmin Indonesia and PT Kaltim Prima Coal. He also serves as the President Commissioner of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk and PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk.

Mr Slack joined Price Waterhouse in Sydney, Australia, in 1976 and transferred to work with their associate firm in Jakarta from 1978. In 1983, Mr Slack joined PT Jan Darmadi Corporation as Treasurer and then worked as the Finance and Accounting Manager of PT KPC during that company’s period of mine construction in 1989 to 1991.

Mr Slack then took up an appointment as CFO Indonesia for Standard Chartered Bank for four years followed by an assignment as KPMG, Melbourne’s Senior Manager of Asia Business Group. In 1996 he joined an American listed corporation, El Paso Energy in a joint venture to finance, build and operate Indonesia’s first Independent Power Project in Sengkang, South Sulawesi.

In 1999, Mr Slack transferred to Manila as Finance Director and CFO of El Paso Energy’s subsidiary, East Asia Power, before returning to Indonesia when appointed as Finance Director of PT Astra International Tbk in November 2000. During his work with Astra, Mr Slack was also appointed Commissioner at PT Astra Agro Lestari TBK, PT Toyota Astra Motor, PT Astra Graphia Tbk and a number of the motor cycle and motor vehicle finance companies in the group.

After his retirement from the Board in 2005, Mr Slack has carried out successful finance and operational assignments including serving as the Business Director for the British International School in Jakarta. In 2011 he was appointed as Commissioner to the Board of PT Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional Tbk, one of Indonesia’s oldest and largest property and hotel company.

John Slack was educated in London, UK and graduated from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Engineering as a Chemical Engineer. Subsequently he qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Born in Beckenham, S.E. London, UK on 14 September 1949, Mr Slack holds dual UK and Australian nationalities.

Mr Farrell serves as Commissioner of PT Arutmin and PT Kaltim Prima Coal since 2007, and an independent director of WestSide Corporation Ltd., an ASX-listed company. He was formerly the President Director of PT Arutmin Indonesia and a director of PT Kaltim Prima Coal.

He previously worked for BHP Billiton Limited for 21 years in various executive and managerial capacities in the iron ore, transport, manganese, and coal businesses. Immediately prior to joining BUMI, he was the President Director of BHP Billiton Coal Indonesia. He holds undergraduate degrees in both Engineering and Commerce from the University of Queensland and has a postgraduate diploma in Company Directorship from the University of New England.

He is a Member of the Institution of Engineers, Australia; a member of The Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mr Srivastava joined the Bakrie Group in 1997. He served at a number of senior positions in the group companies, including Director of PT Bakrie & Brothers, Trans-Bakrie, and Bumi Resources; responsible for Group Investor Relations and Corporate Planning/Business Development for PT Bakrie & Brothers Holding (including Bakrie Telecom). He joined BUMI in 2005 for the Investor Relations function, Corporate Secretary, PR, Media, Governance, and Communications. From March 2008, concurrently held the position of Director of PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk

Prior to joining the Bakrie Group, he was Chief Executive Officer of PTKalindo deka Griya (owner of Menara Kadin Indonesia) and other real estate projects in Indonesia, headed the Delhi establishment of Bennett & Coleman (owner of the Times India Group, the largest publishing house in India) and ICI Limited across various business functions. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management (IIMA), Ahmedabad, India.

Andrew Beckham graduated from Portsmouth University with an Honours degree in Economics. After working in the UK for 10 years, he moved to Australia and worked for Allianz and Exxon Mobil.

In February 2000, he moved to Indonesia and worked for BHP Billiton as a consultant in PT Arutmin Indonesia. In December 2001, he was promoted as Finance Manager for Arutmin, now owned by BUMI. With the acquisition of PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC), he was appointed as Manager of Business Development in KPC and was involved in the issuance of the first bond from Indonesia with an Investment Grade after the financial crisis.

In January 2005, he was recruited by BUMI as Vice President, before he was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer in December 2006. He is also serving as a director of Herald Resources on the ASX since 2009, and served as Chief Financial Officer of Bumi plc until 2012. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Appointed as Director of the Company in May 2012. Mr. White’s professional responsibilities have included roles in finance, operations, corporate restructurings and business development. He started his career as Business Development Manager for Indochina Healthcare, Bangkok. He subsequently worked at Deutsche Bank (Project Finance) and Lazard (Investment Banking). He has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Appointed as a Director of the Company in May 2012. He also serves as a director of PT Borneo Lumbung Energi & Metal Tbk (since 2010), Marketing Director of PT Asmin Koalindo Tuhup (a subsidiary of PT Borneo Lumbung Energi & Metal Tbk), and Director of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk.

Mr. Allan began his career as an auditor with Peat Marwick (later to become KPMG) and became a partner of the Indonesian firm. He joined Deloitte in 1999 as a tax consultant and left the firm in 2003 to establish MS Taxes.

Australian citizen, born in 1957. Graduated in Accounting from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and is an Australian Chartered Accountant.
