Samin Tan - President Commissioner

Appointed as President Commissioner of the Company in May 2012. Mr Samin is the Chairman of Bumi Plc and is President Director of PT Bumi Resources Minerals. He was President Director of PT Borneo Lumbung Energi & Metal from 2007 until 2011. Mr Samin began his career as an auditor with Peat Marwick (later becoming KPMG) in 1987 and became partner of the firm in 1995. He joined Deloitte in 1998 and left the firm in 2002, immediately following which he founded Renaissance Capital where he remains the President Director. Mr Samin has extensive experience in the coal mining industry, serving as auditor, tax consultant and corporate advisor to a number of major coal companies in Indonesia during various phases of his professional life in KPMG and Deloitte. In 2007, he acquired PT Asmin Koalindo Tuhup (“AKT”), via PT Borneo Lumbung Energi & Metal Tbk, a firm which he founded, when AKT was a green-field coal concession. Borneo developed the mine and brought it into production at an unprecedented pace. |

Suryo B. Sulisto - Vice President Commissioner

Appointed as Vice President Commissioner of the Company in May 2012. He earned his BSc from the University of Wisconsin and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Washington International University, Pennsylvania, both in the United States of America. He is also a founder of Satmarindo Group and currently serves as the Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2010. He was the special envoy of the President of the Republic of Indonesia for the North, Central and South American Regions. Indonesian citizen. He was born in Solo on 11 February 1947. |

Has been serving as Commissioner of the Company since 2001. He graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). He is the founder of PT Tripatra Engineering and PT Gunanusa Utama Fabricators. Kusumo A. Martoredjo - Commissioner

Has been serving as Commissioner of the Company since 2001. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics, the University of Indonesia. In 1969, he continued his study at Gutbrod Moteren Werke Gmbh, West Germany. He is the founder of PT Catur Yasa and a member of the Council of Governors of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Senior Advisor of Indonesia-Japan Economic Committee (IJEC). He was appointed as Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Indonesia for Economic Affairs for Japan and Korea, and is a Commissioner of several companies that are engaged in the Energy, Industry and Retail Servicing in the gas and fuel sector. He is also the President of the Indonesian Shorinji Kempo Federation. Born on 7 April 1943. |

Nalinkant A. Rathod - Commissioner

Has been serving as Commissioner of the Company since 2001. He received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Andhara University, India in 1970 and Chartered Accountant of India in 1976. He has been associated with the Bakrie Group in Indonesia in various capacities for nearly 25 years holding various senior positions. He is currently the President Commissioner in PT Kaltim Prima Coal and PT Arutmin Indonesia, which together is the world’s largest thermal coal export mines from Indonesia. These two mines are a joint venture (70:30) between PT Bumi Resources Tbk., Indonesia and Tata Power Ltd., India. He is also currently the Managing Director of Capital Managers Asia Pte. Ltd., Singapore, a financial advisory firm operating in Asia. He has been apponted by the Bakrie family as Commissioner in PT Bumi Resources Tbk, PT Bakrie Telecom Tbk, and PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk. All the above companies are part of the Bakrie Group. He is a successful entrepreneur in his own capacity and a seasoned cross-cultural negotiator and deal maker. He has been socially active and currently the President of India Club, Jakarta, Indonesia and recently has been appointed as a Chairman of India Committee in the Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry. |

Anton Setianto Soedarsono - Commissioner

Has been serving as Commissioner of the Company since 2009. He graduated from the Yokohama National University, Japan in 1966 and started his career with Pertamina from 1966 to 1981, where, during his last 5 years he was stationed at its Jakarta Main Office to serve as the Marketing Manager for Overseas Crude Oil and Petroleum. He became an independent consultant for oil and gas companies and international oil business. He later decided to join Unocal and was stationed at its Indonesian Representative office in Jakarta. During his 10-year career, he assumed several important positions as the Vice President for Oil Commercial Affairs and Vice President for Government Relations. He originated and executed the idea to sell Indonesia’s crude oil at premium prices in 1979. During 1994-1998, he served as CEO and President Director of Bakrie Investindo and as Vice President Commissioner of PT Bakrie Capital Indonesia during 1998-1999. Indonesian citizen. Alex is concurrently the President Director and Chief Executive Officer of PT Borneo Lumbung Energi & Metal Tbk, having previously been Chief Operating Officer. Prior to this he was Managing Director of Ancora Capital Management Pte Ltd, a private equity fund management firm. Alex began his career as an investment banker at Lazard Frères & Co and has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Economics from Boston University. |

Scott Merrillees - Commissioner

Appointed as Commissioner of the Company in 2012. He served as Director of PT Borneo Lumbung Energi & Metal Tbk in 2011, and has been Chief Financial Officer of Bumi plc and Berau Coal Energy Tbk since March 2012. He started his career in The Fuji Bank Limited in Tokyo, Japan (now part of Mizuho Bank), and has an extensive experience in Finance and Banking industries. He was a Research Director for PT Morgan Grenfell Asia Indonesia (now Deutsche Bank Securities) and UBS Securities Ltd. From 1994 – 2006 Mr. Merrillees joined PT BNP Paribas Securities Indonesia, Jakarta, with last position as the President Director of the company. In 2008 – 2010, he was with ANZ Banking Group Limited and PT ANZ Bank Indonesia Jakarta as Head of Natural Resources. Prior to joining Bumi plc, Mr. Merrillees served as Corporate Finance and Investor Relations Director of PT Borneo Lumbung Energi & Metal Tbk. Mr. Merrillees graduated with Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Melbourne (Melbourne, Australia), Faculty of Economics and Commerce in 1984. |
